After working for more than a decade in corporate event management, Head Chef and Owner Fiona Copley set out to make her passion for food a reality. Inspired by family traditions of excellent cooking, specifically memories of her Mum’s top notch cakes and puddings in 2010 she set about building a food business based on great taste whilst utilising her experience in the event industry.
Our “hub” venue Hopleys Café (the likeness of names is spooky but purely coincidental!) opened in April 2012 in Much Hadham and in March 2018 we were delighted to take over the Café and onsite catering at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, Perry Green
Over the last few years we have “grown out” of our rather bijou kitchen and office facilities and are delighted and proud to have recently moved in to a new production kitchen, office and storage facility near Stanstead Abbots. This great facility will enable the team to better serve all our customers’ outside catering requirements and also provides more comfortable working conditions for the Copleys team!
